Curriculum materials presented here have been developed or adapted and tested at Washington University. Finishing Tutorials and Walkthroughs | This set of documents introduces students to the tools available for finishing (Phred, Phrap, Consed). |
Sequence Improvement Exercises | These exercises allow students to practice finishing using the software tools Consed, Phred, and Phrap. |
GEP Specific Issues | This section address specific issues in regard to GEP sequence improvement projects, such as how to order additional reactions and checklists required for project submission. |
Resolving Misassemblies | This section contains reference materials and walkthroughs for resolving major misassemblies in D. ananassae sequence improvement projects. |
Sanger Sequencing | This section contains curriculum materials on how students can assess and improve genome assemblies that were produced by Sanger sequencing. |
